Hammad Ather is currently a Research Intern at Berkeley Lab, focusing on developing a web-based log analysis framework for HPC I/O applications and has published two papers on this research. Ather also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oregon, working on optimizing a physics proxy application with performance analysis tools. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at GamerGraph and i2c Inc., where development of web applications for banking transactions was a key responsibility. Research and Development Engineer experience at Lahore University of Management Sciences involved federated learning optimization, improving execution time through deep learning solutions. Ather holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oregon and a BS in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
