Amy Huras

Amy Huras, PhD, currently serves as the Lead Advisor for Research and Program Support at the University of Ottawa, starting in April 2025. Previously, Amy was the Director of Research for Consumer Insights at Lux Research, where leadership involved guiding anthropological researchers to provide qualitative analysis for Fortune 500 companies. At MotivBase, Amy advanced from Senior Researcher to Associate Director of Research, overseeing the development of a comprehensive research team and streamlining operations. Academic contributions include roles as Faculty Fellow and Assistant Professor at New York University and a doctoral researcher at the University of Toronto, supported by significant funding for field research. Educational achievements include a PhD in History from the University of Toronto, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a BA from the University of Guelph.
