Brandi West

Brandi West is a highly qualified professional in the field of chemistry with extensive experience in teaching and research. Currently serving as a Teaching Laboratory Technologist and part-time professor at the University of Ottawa since March 2017, Brandi West teaches undergraduate courses in analytical and physical chemistry. Previously, Brandi completed a postdoctoral research fellowship and served as a course instructor at the University of Auckland from January 2015 to January 2017, primarily working with advanced mass spectrometry techniques. Earlier experiences include roles as a research assistant and a PhD candidate at the University of Ottawa, where Brandi investigated manganese porphyrin oligomers and conducted thesis research at IRAP in France. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Science from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Science from Trent University.
