Leslie-Anne Barber

Board Member at University of Ottawa

Leslie-Anne Barber started working at the University of Ottawa in 2005. Her journey began as a Work Study student and evolved into a successful career on campus working in the areas of research administration, communications and marketing, academic administration and, more recently, in administrative services. In addition to acquiring a holistic view of the University, these various roles allowed her to build a vast professional network within the university community – a network that she represents by sitting on the Board of Governors. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), a Licentiate in Law (LL.L) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Ottawa. Leslie-Anne is also pursuing doctoral studies and has chosen to make university governance the subject of her thesis.
