Rachel Ouellette

Rachel Ouellette is the current Chief of Staff at the University of Ottawa. Rachel has also worked as an Administrative Coordinator at the Canadian Red Cross, a Program Officer for Volunteer Mobilization and Engagement at World University Service of Canada (WUSC - EUMC), and an Administrative and Logistics Officer at World University Service of Canada (WUSC - EUMC). Rachel has also worked as a Recruitment Assistant for EQWIP HUBs: Powering Youth Innovation for Sustainable Livelihoods.

Rachel has a passion for helping others and has dedicated their career to working in positions that allow their to do just that. Rachel is a skilled administrator and coordinator, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams. Rachel is an excellent communicator and takes pride in their ability to build relationships with those they work with. Rachel is a strong advocate for social justice and believes that everyone deserves access to education and opportunities to succeed.

Rachel Ouellette has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Development from McGill University and a DEC in North-South Studies from Dawson College.

Annie Garant - Manager, Planning, Véronic Tardif - Manager, University Experience, and Erika Hansen-Reeder - Manager, Planning report to Rachel Ouellette. They are on a team with Marcel Mérette - Deputy Provost, Planning and Academic Budgets, Jules Carrière - Vice-Provost Faculty Relations, and Aline Germain-Rutherford - Vice-Provost Academic Affairs.
