Valérie Charbonneau

Valérie Charbonneau has extensive experience in communications and marketing, currently serving as the Interim Senior Manager of Operations at the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs at the Université d'Ottawa since September 2015. Valérie's roles at the university have included communications and marketing manager for the Faculty of Health Sciences, content strategy lead for the Office of the Vice-President, Research, and interim communications advisor for the General Communications Directorate. Prior to this, Valérie worked in various communication roles at uOttawa, including internal communications officer and institutional communications writer. Valérie's earlier career includes research work at the Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada and several production roles at Productions Charbonneau, including filmmaker and actress, contributing to projects for TVA, TFO, RDI, and Radio-Canada. Valérie holds a Master's degree in French Literature and Language from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a specialization in French Letters from the University of Ottawa.
