Andreas Porse

Andreas Porse is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford since April 2024. Previously, Andreas held the position of Senior Scientist and Scientist at SNIPR Biome, focusing on the development of next-generation microbiome medicines and DNA delivery vectors for microbiome modulation from January 2019 to December 2023. Prior to that, Andreas worked as a Postdoctoral researcher and PhD student at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability under Morten Sommer, investigating antibiotic resistance genetics and evolution from December 2014 to December 2018. Additionally, Andreas served as a Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark in applied biodiversity and bioinformatics courses from February 2012 to May 2013. Educational credentials include a M.Sc.Eng in Biotechnology and a B.Sc. Eng. in Human Life Science Engineering, both from the Technical University of Denmark, along with a Higher Technical Exam from Roskilde Tekniske Gymnasium.
