Paula Bejarano Carbo

Paula Bejarano Carbo is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford, with a robust background in economic research. Previously, Paula served as an economist and associate economist at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research from September 2022 to October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a research assistant at the University of Warwick, where Paula collaborated with Dr. Karina Patricio Ferreira Lima and Dr. John Morris on various projects. Additionally, Paula interned at the University of Oxford under Dr. Dariusz Wojcik, contributing to the Atlas of Finance publication. Paula Bejarano Carbo holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Warwick.
