Robert Harris is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Oxford in the Centre for Immuno-Oncology, a position held since August 2025 and funded by GSK. Prior to this role, Robert served as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Adaptimmune from February 2022 to August 2025, focusing on the phenotypic and functional characterization of specific peptide-enhanced affinity receptor T cell products. Robert obtained a PhD from King's College London, where work was conducted in the lab of Professor Sophia Karagiannis from September 2017 to February 2022. Earlier experience includes a placement as a Research and Development Scientist at Novartis, where an ultra-sensitive immunoassay diagnostic test for malaria infection was developed. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Imperial College London, completing studies from 2013 to 2017.
