Bob Brier

Bob Brier is an experienced administrative leader with a robust background in financial and operational management across various institutions. Currently serving as the Managing Director for the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for the Internet of Things for Precision Agriculture at the University of Pennsylvania, Bob previously held key positions including Administrative Director at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities encompassed the management of NSF-funded Engineering Research Centers. With past roles at Arizona State University, The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, The Brookings Institution, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard School of Public Health, and AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, Bob has developed strong expertise in grant management, budgeting, and administrative operations. Bob holds a Master's in Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Connecticut College.
