Tawanna Jones

Tawanna Jones is an experienced education professional with a current role as Associate Director of the Urban Teaching Apprentice Program (UTAP) for Elementary and Middle Years at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, Tawanna served as Executive Director at We.Reign, Inc. and worked as Lead Professional Development Facilitator and Assistant to the Director for the Educational Issues: Health & Welfare Fund. Additionally, a background in the School District of Philadelphia includes positions as School Psychologist, Special Education Liaison, Special Education Lead Teacher (English Literature-Inclusion), and Special Education Teacher. Tawanna is pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in School Systems Leadership at Widener University and holds a Master's Degree in School Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
