Francoise Cabada Blanco

Francoise Cabada Blanco is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Marine Biology at the University of Portsmouth, where contributions include revamping curricula and integrating project-based learning. With extensive experience as a Teaching Fellow at the Zoological Society of London, Francoise has developed the marine components of the EDGE of Existence Programme and provided capacity building for early career conservationists. Prior roles include managerial positions at ACASO Engineering LLC, as well as academic positions at Universidad Simón Bolívar and Universidad Nacional Experimental Maritima del Caribe, where Francoise delivered lectures and managed laboratory operations. Francoise's educational background includes a Doctorate in Biological Sciences focused on coral reef conservation, a Master's in Experimental Ecology, and a Bachelor's in Marine Biology, complemented by a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Portsmouth.
