William White

William White is a highly experienced Senior Scientist specializing in geomorphology and management, currently holding positions at the University of Illinois and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since 2003. As Principal Investigator and Manager of the Peoria Research Facility within the Center for Watershed Science, William demonstrates a strategic approach to communication and action. Prior to these roles, William was the Ecosystems Science Program Planning Section Manager and Geomorphologist at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources from 1984 to 2003, where responsibilities included leading the Ecosystems Science & Planning Section. William holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Geology from Illinois State University.
