Katie Osmon

Katie Osmon has a diverse work experience in the field of higher education. Katie currently holds the position of Talent Management & Apprenticeship Lead at the University of Portsmouth. Prior to this, they worked as a Student Achievement and Success Manager at Buckinghamshire New University, where they managed the Student Learning and Achievement team and the Student Opportunities and Careers Success team. Katie also has experience as an Academic and Access Officer at Lincoln College, University of Oxford, where they managed outreach and recruitment activities, as well as academic administration. Additionally, they worked as a Transition Project Manager at Brunel University London, where they focused on improving transition into university for students with non-traditional entry qualifications. Earlier in their career, they served as a Study Higher Liaison Officer at Oxford Brookes University, leading a program for Young Carers. Katie began their career as a Higher Education Graduate Trainee at Royal Holloway, University of London, where they evaluated the Passport Skills Award.

Katie Osmon earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2013. Katie then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, which they completed in 2020. In 2014, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Nottingham Trent University. Additionally, in 2016, they received an ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management from Oxford Brookes University.
