Joe Schmidt

Joe Schmidt is a Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, where tenure has included roles as Associate Professor and Department Head, teaching leadership and human resource management for undergraduate and MBA students since June 2011. Research interests focus on personality, group processes, and strategic human resource management. Prior experience includes serving as a Leadership and Talent Consultant at Hay Group from 2008 to 2011, specializing in talent and performance management, as well as working as an HR Consultant at AMEC and a Technical Recruiter at Maxim Group. Joe Schmidt has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, both obtained from the University of Calgary, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution.
