Tayyab Shah

Tayyab Shah is a seasoned professional in geospatial research and analysis, currently serving as the Geospatial Research Manager and Specialist at the Canadian Hub for Applied and Social Research, University of Saskatchewan, since April 2020. Prior roles include Senior GIS Analyst at the Water Security Agency, Lecturer/Research Fellow in Geospatial Sciences at The University of the South Pacific, and several positions at Western University and the University of Saskatchewan, including Postdoctoral Research Associate and Fellow. Tayyab Shah has contributed to significant projects with UNICEF, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and various United Nations agencies, focusing on GIS, MIS, and data management in education and health sectors. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geography from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master's degree in Space Sciences from the University of the Punjab.
