Daren Murphy

Daren Murphy has extensive work experience in various roles related to procurement and financial services. Daren has worked as an Associate Director at the University of South Australia since 2016, where they transformed and modernized financial services functions. Prior to that, they worked as a Procurement Consultant at Xchanging, providing procurement advice and support to customers in the tertiary sector. Daren also worked as a Commercial Advisor and Commercial Manager at the Home Office, providing procurement advice and support to the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism. Additionally, Daren has owned Interim Procurement Services Ltd and worked as a Senior Services Coordinator at European Marine Contractors Ltd, among other roles.

Daren Murphy completed an MSc in Procurement from the University of South Wales in 2003-2004. Prior to that, they obtained a MCIPS certification in Procurement from Croydon College during the period of 1997-2001. In June 2019, they also obtained the certification of Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
