Lisa Johnson

Lisa Johnson has a distinguished career in academia, with their most recent position being the Director & Professor of the Center for Women's and Gender Studies at USC Upstate. Lisa has been in this role since July 2006. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Professor of English and Cultural Studies & Founding Director of the WGS Program at Coastal Carolina University from June 2003 to May 2006.

Lisa attended Binghamton University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in English and Cultural Studies.

Prior to that, they attended Ohio University from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English with a concentration in Women's Literature.

In their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of West Georgia from 1991 to 1994. There, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
