James F. Melton

James F. Melton is an experienced professional with a background in both education and finance, currently serving as a Post Award Grant Accountant at the University of South Carolina since September 2024. Alongside this role, James has been the Head JV Basketball Coach and Player Development Coach at Lugoff-Elgin High School since May 2022, and the Founder of Go Hard P.D., a basketball player development and mentoring program since January 2015. Previous experience includes roles as a Financial Services Representative at Founders Federal Credit Union, an Assistant Basketball Coach at North Central High School, and a Membership Representative at Navy Federal Credit Union. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Francis Marion University and has a high school diploma from Wilson High School.
