Jessica Gibson

Jessica Gibson serves as the Associate Director of Career Development at the University of South Carolina since October 2012, focusing on strategic oversight and development of career initiatives, campus outreach, and student engagement. Previous roles at the university include managing the Career Studio and providing career coaching for students in various colleges. Jessica has extensive experience supporting student-athletes through academic services, having held multiple positions in Athletic Academic Support, including Director and Learning Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as a Case Manager at Lutheran Episcopal Services Mississippi to assist Hurricane Katrina victims and as a Research Assistant focused on clinical assessments in educational settings. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wofford College, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.
