Kara Grant

Kara Grant is an experienced professional in interior design and facilities operations, currently serving as the Associate Director of Space and Facilities Operations for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina since June 2012. In addition to this role, Kara also serves as the Key Administrator for University Housing Facilities and has worked as an Interior Designer for University Housing Construction & Renovations. Prior experience includes positions as an Interior Designer at Alfred Williams & Co. and as an Assistant Project Manager at Colite International, Ltd. Kara began a career in design at CDA Architects as a Junior Interior Designer and gained early experience as a Design Intern at GMK Associates. Kara holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Winthrop University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
