Thasmia Fathima has gained valuable work experience in various roles. In 2023, Fathima worked as an Industrial Placement Intern at Siemens Digital Industries Software. Prior to that, they served as the School of Engineering President at the University of Southampton Students' Union. Fathima also held positions as the Union Senator and Mechanical Engineering Course Representative at the same organization. In 2023, they worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Physical Sciences Data Infrastructure (PSDI), where they collaborated with a team to create a comprehensive dataset and built machine learning models. Fathima also worked as a Summer Intern at Amara Automotive Ltd in 2022 and as a Product design and development Intern at Mechathon Engineering in 2021, where they gained experience in modeling, research, and design improvement.
