Douglas Shook is an accomplished academic and technology leader with extensive experience in data sciences and operations. Currently serving as an Emeritus Professor at the University of Southern California, Shook has held multiple significant roles at USC Marshall School of Business, including Professor of Data Sciences and Operations, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Vice Provost, and Dean of Academic Records. Previously, Shook founded Shook & Associates, a consultancy specializing in custom IT solutions across various industries, and was a founding partner at 4Front Technologies, focusing on UNIX-based applications. Additional experience includes holding a key position at Dephi Communications/ComSciences and directing IBM's Advanced Computing Support Center. Shook holds a Ph.D. and MA from the University of Southern California, and a BA from the University of Michigan.
