Zhaoyang Fan is an accomplished academic and research professional with extensive experience in the fields of biomedical engineering and medical imaging. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering and a Tenured Associate Professor in Radiology and Radiation Oncology at the University of Southern California since November 2020, Zhaoyang also holds the position of Director of MR Imaging Research. Prior to this, Zhaoyang has been associated with Cedars-Sinai since September 2010, where roles have included Visiting Scientist, Scientist II, and Technical Director of Imaging Research Core. Education includes a Master's degree in Medical Physics from McMaster University, a PhD in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University.
