David Hall

David Hall serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger since February 2023 and holds multiple roles at Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge, including Affiliate, Director of Studies in Natural Sciences (Chemistry), and Research By-Fellow since July 2019. Hall's research expertise lies in materials and interfacial chemistry, particularly related to batteries and energy technologies. Previous roles include Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and Project Lead for Battery Degradation Studies at The Faraday Institution, contributing to multidisciplinary projects with numerous UK universities and industry partners. Earlier experiences include positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dalhousie University, Corrosion Scientist at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, and a Student Researcher at the National Research Council Canada.
