Alistair Gilmour

Alistair Gilmour is an experienced executive assistant currently serving at the University of Strathclyde since July 2012, providing high-level support to the University Secretary and senior officers. Previously, Alistair held roles as the Faculty Office Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Executive Dean in the Faculty of Science, overseeing administrative functions and committee management. Alistair contributed to Autism Network Scotland, facilitating access to autism-related resources, and has experience in international student welfare from time spent at the University of Glasgow. Earlier roles include a position as a Debt Evaluator for the Department for Work and Pensions and as a bookseller. Alistair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Strathclyde and an HNC in Administration & Information Technology from Glasgow Clyde College.
