Walter Johnstone

Walter Johnstone has extensive experience in academia and industry, holding key positions at the University of Strathclyde since January 2000, including Head of the Photonic Systems Research Group and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, where responsibilities include research and internationalization. Additionally, Walter has served as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and held leadership roles in the Electronic and Electrical Engineering department. Walter is also a Director at OptoSci Ltd and has previously directed the Institute for System Level Integration from May 2009 to August 2013. Walter's educational background is from the University of Strathclyde.
