Donal Brown

Donal Brown serves as a Non-Executive Director and Board Chair at RetrofitWorks Co-operative, overseeing energy efficiency schemes designed for community benefit. Currently, Donal is the Director of UK Programs at Ashden and Co-Chair of the Delivery Working Group at the National Retrofit Hub, both initiatives focused on addressing challenges in retrofit and local energy delivery. As the Managing Director of the Sustainable Design Collective (SDC), Donal provides consultancy services aimed at sustainability and energy policy, collaborating with various stakeholders for innovative solutions. Additionally, Donal's academic roles as a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex and former Research Fellow at the University of Leeds emphasize contributions to renewable energy and sustainable housing research, supported by a strong educational background including a PhD in Energy from the University of Sussex.
