Seb Oliver

Seb Oliver serves as the Associate Dean of Research and Innovation and Director of the Data Intensive Science Centre at the University of Sussex, where responsibilities include leading a significant international astrophysical research project affiliated with the European Space Agency's Herschel mission and overseeing research into galaxy evolution. With a strong academic background, Oliver holds professorship in Astrophysics, has served as Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research), and has managed research and knowledge exchange activities within the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. Additional roles include membership on the STFC Science Board and participation in key committees related to education and research policy.
