Kinga Gaál-Lajtos

Kinga Gaál-Lajtos is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in managing international projects and grants. Currently serving as a Project Manager at the University of Szeged since 2019, Kinga leads six international projects totaling 50 million EUR and coordinates teams of 3-10 individuals. Previously, as a Grants Program Manager at the Hungarian State Treasury, Kinga audited 27 municipal projects to ensure the legal use of nearly 700 million HUF of EU funding and contributed to establishing a new Treasury office. Earlier roles include Project Manager at Procuro Tender Ltd., overseeing projects valued between 330-390 million HUF, and Grants Manager at the University of Szeged, where Kinga prepared financial accounts for national and EU tenders, achieving significant financial savings. Kinga began the career as a Project Coordinator at Junior Achievement Hungary, successfully securing nearly 100 million HUF in grants annually through tender writing. Kinga holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Szeged.
