Lisa Foa is a seasoned academic and researcher in the field of neuroscience, currently serving as the Head of School for Psychological Sciences at the University of Tasmania since October 2001. In this role, Lisa leads a team focused on enhancing Tasmania's mental health workforce and advancing knowledge in areas such as cognitive neuroscience and clinical psychology. Additionally, Lisa holds the position of Professor and directs the Developmental Neurobiology Laboratory, where the focus is on the cellular connections of developing nerve cells.
