Lyn Lewis-Smith

Lyn Lewis-Smith is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the not-for-profit and education sectors. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director and Co Chair of the Global Leadership Committee at Destinations International, Lyn also holds the position of Chair for the Liveability Loveability Taskforce at the Committee for Sydney. In addition, Lyn contributes to the UTS Business School as an Adjunct Professor and Advisory Board Member while serving as a Non Executive Director at the Women’s Resilience Centre, focusing on recovery for women affected by domestic abuse. As the Chief Executive Officer of BESydney since 2012, Lyn has spearheaded customized specialist bidding services in partnership with diverse stakeholders. Past roles include Non Executive Director and Past President of the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux, General Manager at ChristchurchNZ, and various positions in the tourism and hospitality sectors prior to 1995. Lyn's educational credentials include qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, UNSW, and Harvard University.
