Climatebase
Irving Chan Gomez is a professional engaged in climate and sustainability initiatives with a robust background in strategic partnerships and global expansion. Currently serving as a Fellow at Climatebase since March 2025, Irving actively participates in the Climatebase Fellowship. Previously, Irving held multiple roles at B Lab from August 2016 to June 2021, including Senior Manager for Strategic Partnerships and Global Expansion, where responsibilities included leading strategic growth in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, and Manager for Global Network Development and Innovation. Early career experiences include positions as Sustainability Coordinator at Young Entrepreneurs for Leadership and Sustainability, Sustainability Consultant at FROG SONG ORGANICS, LLC, and Extension and Research Associate at the University of Florida. Irving holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Practice from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
