Tristan D. Toleno

Elected to the Board by the Vermont State Legislature in 2015 for a six-year term ending in 2021. Re-elected by the Vermont State Legislature in 2023. Term expires in March 2029. Born in Ithaca, NY, Tristan grew up in Marlboro, VT and graduated from Brattleboro Union High School; Wesleyan University, BA; New England Culinary Institute, AOS; Marlboro College, MBA. Member of the House: 2012 - Present on House Appropriations Committee. Legislative appointee to the State Workforce Development Board: 2013 - Present. Member of Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary. Managing partner and chef of Riverview Cafe: 2000-2011, Owner and Chef of Entera Catering, 2012 - 2019. Also, Adjunct Professor of Systems Wisdom at Marlboro College MBA: 2012-2020, director of the MBA program: 2016-2020 and interim Dean of the Graduate School: 2019-2020. Since 2019, Tristan has worked as the CFO/COO of Global Round Table Leadership, a certified B Corp virtual training company which guides teams and organizations on how to share leadership and power. Married to Susie Webster-Toleno, who serves as the minister to the Congregational Church of Westminster West and as a hospice chaplain; 2 adult children, Owen and Malcolm.
