Stephanie Rowley is the current Dean of the School of Education & Human Development at University of Virginia. Prior to this, they served as Chair of the Combined Program in Education and Psychology at University of Michigan Department of Psychology from September 2015 to August 2018. Stephanie has also been Interim Chair of Psychology at University of Michigan Department of Psychology from July 2014 to June 2015. Stephanie Rowley has been a Professor at University of Michigan Psychology since December 1999 and was also a Professor at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from September 1997 to August 2000.

Stephanie Rowley earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Developmental Psychology from the University of Virginia, after completing their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in African American Studies from the University of Michigan.
