Theresa M Davis

Theresa M Davis is an accomplished academic and theatre professional with extensive experience in higher education and performance. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Theatre and an Associate Professor of Cross Cultural Performance at the University of Virginia since January 2007, Theresa has also contributed to the field as a Certified Teacher of Alexander Technique from May 2002 to 2016. Previous roles include Guest Artist and Guest Director at Purdue University in 2006, Associate Professor at West Virginia University from August 1996 to August 2006, and Assistant Associate Professor at Kalamazoo College from September 1990 to July 1996. Additionally, Theresa engaged with students as a Visiting Artist at Macalester College in 1994, further showcasing a commitment to theatre education and cross-cultural performance.
