Kelley Biastock

Kelley Biastock serves as the Emergency Management Director at the University of Washington since August 2023, bringing extensive experience in emergency management and public health. Previously, Kelley held the position of Program Manager at the CDC Foundation from December 2021 to December 2022, co-leading the COVID-19 Therapeutics Task Force to ensure equitable distribution of COVID therapies in Alaska. Prior experience includes serving as the Emergency Preparedness Manager/Safety Officer for the Municipality of Anchorage, overseeing the Department's Emergency Preparedness Program, and as the Regional Disaster Officer for the American Red Cross, where responsibilities included managing disaster response and recovery operations across Alaska. Kelley's earlier roles included natural resource management and integrated pest management, underlined by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
