Kent Partridge

Kent Partridge is the current Director of Athletics at University of West Alabama. Kent has held this position since December of 2007. Prior to their current role, Partridge served as Vice President Communications for the National Basketball Association from January 2001 to December 2007. Kent also served as Director of Athletic Media and Public Relations for Texas Tech University from January 1999 to December 2000, and Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Media and Public Relations for Auburn University from January 1994 to December 1999. In addition, Partridge has also served as Senior Vice President/Communications, Operations for G-Code Hoops/Ventures from January 2007 to December 2009, and Director of Public Relations for XFL/BIRMINGHAM THUNDERBOLTS from January 2000 to December 2001. Kent began their career in Sports Information at Auburn University in 1989, where they served as Associate Director until 1994.

Kent Partridge graduated from The University of West Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in HPER and Journalism.

They are on a team with Jeffrey Merida - Associate Dean, College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics, Clete Beard - Interim VP, Financial Affairs, and B.J. Kimbrough - Dean, School of Graduate Studies and Chief Diversity Officer. Their manager is Ken Tucker, President.
