Chang Yang

Chang Yang is currently a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a focus on biochemistry, expected to graduate in 2030. Prior to this, Chang served as a Senior Research Associate II at the Institute for Protein Innovation, where responsibilities included evaluating codon optimization methods and expressing cell surface protein ectodomains. Earlier experience includes roles at AB Biosciences as a Research Associate, where Chang constructed and evaluated immuno-related recombinant proteins, and as a Research Intern at Mass General Hospital, focusing on testing inhibitors related to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Chang also worked as a Quality Inspector at Wan Qi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., conducting chemical tests and assisting with website content translation. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Brandeis University, and ongoing doctoral studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
