Jeanette Metzger is a highly experienced scientist currently employed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since January 2011. With a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pathology, research has primarily focused on cardiac sympathetic neurodegeneration in a nonhuman primate model of Parkinson's disease. Throughout the academic career, Jeanette has held various roles including Postdoctoral Researcher, Graduate Research Assistant, and Undergraduate Research Assistant, facilitating significant research in both cardiac dysautonomia and turfgrass pathology. Additionally, Jeanette serves as a WARF Ambassador, engaging with the STEM research community to promote technology development and intellectual property protection.
