Jonathan Marino

Jonathan Marino is a doctoral candidate in Education Policy Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an affiliate researcher with the UW-Madison Center for Research on Early Childhood Education. Previously, Jonathan served as the Director of Content and Strategy at MapStory, overseeing the data commons for mapstory.org. As a Senior Associate at the Council of Chief State School Officers, Jonathan coordinated the Innovation Lab and provided research on education policy innovations. Jonathan's experience also includes conducting research on post-conflict reconstruction in Northern Uganda as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, co-directing a center for applied research at Northwestern University, and coordinating service-learning programs for Chicago Public Schools. Jonathan holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of Galway and a BA in Education and Political Science from Northwestern University.
