Mariana Nozela Prado is an experienced professional currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since August 2023. Previously, Mariana held multiple roles at Meridian Institute from July 2021 to August 2023, including Mediator and Program Manager, as well as Mediator and Program Associate. Mariana's earlier experience includes a position as a Training and Education Specialist at DC SAFE, where work focused on client experience surveys and system reform advocacy. Additional roles include Gender Mainstreaming Consultant and Researcher at Ecam, Pro-Bono Consultant for Fundación Escuelas de Paz, Environment and Human Rights Intern at Human Rights Watch, and various positions at Georgetown University. Mariana holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and two advanced degrees in Peace Studies and Political Science from Georgetown University and Stetson University, respectively.
