Vaneesa Cook

Vaneesa Cook is an independent business owner at Scholar Scope, specializing in editing and indexing since April 2017. Vaneesa serves as an Adjunct Professor of History and a historian for the UW Missing in Action Project at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a tenure that began in 2008. Previously, Vaneesa held the position of Adjunct Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from August 2017 to August 2019 and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University from July 2015 to July 2017. Vaneesa's earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from August 2005 to August 2008. Vaneesa earned a PhD in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2008 and 2015 and a Master of Public Administration from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2004.
