Sydelle Fernandes

Sydelle Fernandes has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Academic Researcher at Curtin University Dubai in 2020. Sydelle has also worked as a Contributing Writer at Trill Mag, Student Ambassador, Student Blogger, and YuCall Student Fundraiser at the University of York. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Production for The Publishing Society (The Looking Glass Anthology) at the University of York Students' Union. Additionally, they have worked as an EAL Support Assistant at Wiggington Primary School and an Activity Leader at Target English International.

Sydelle Fernandes completed their Edexcel GCSE from St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai in 2019, followed by their Edexcel A-level in 2021. Sydelle is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and Related Literature at the University of York, expected to graduate in 2024. Sydelle also obtained additional certifications in education, including virtual work experience and knowledge in inclusive education.
