Mislav Škacan

Mislav Škacan is a PhD Research Assistant at the University of Zadar, specializing in sociology, and is involved in research on sustainable fisheries through a project funded by the Croatian Science Foundation. Previous experience includes serving as Project Development Manager at Pokret Otoka, where responsibilities included project proposal creation and coordination of activities for the "Unlocking the Energy Potential of Croatian Islands" initiative. Mislav has also held roles in procurement and operations across various organizations, including Infobip and Lentismed d.o.o., and has a strong background in project management, process improvement, and occupational health and safety. With comprehensive education in sociology, procurement management, and occupational health, Mislav currently pursues a PhD while contributing to key social research initiatives.
