Florian Scheuer

Florian Scheuer currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Economics and the UBS Foundation Professor of Economics of Institutions at the University of Zurich, a position held since 2016. Prior experience includes a tenure as a National Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, Florian Scheuer has held visiting professorships at the University of California, Berkeley, and Harvard University. Academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Diplom in Economics from the University of Konstanz and studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
