Manuel Sebastian Mariani

Manuel Sebastian Mariani is a distinguished researcher currently serving as the Research Group Lead at the University of Zurich within the University Research Priority Program "Social Networks" since November 2017. Prior to this role, Manuel held the position of Senior Research Associate in the same program. Additionally, Manuel has experience as a Visiting Associate Professor and Research Associate Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from September 2017 to January 2024. Manuel's academic journey includes a PhD candidacy in Physics at Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg from December 2013 to October 2017, and a Master’s degree and Bachelor's degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma, obtained in 2013 and 2011, respectively.
