Eddy Castillo

Eddy Castillo is an experienced Cloud Security Engineer at URC since March 2019, specializing in the development and management of cloud security architecture and enhancing security in cloud environments. Previously, Eddy worked as an IT User Support Specialist, focusing on endpoint security and compliance policies using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Intune Manager. Eddy also served as a Field Finance Coordinator, where responsibilities included reviewing financial reports and managing wire requests. In addition, leadership roles included Treasurer for the Latino Student Union, overseeing financial records and budget analysis, and Director of Internal Affairs for The Coalition of Latino Student Organization. Eddy began a career in tax consulting, preparing tax returns and advising clients at Refund Plan, Tax & Accounting Services. Eddy holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and an Associate's degree in Business from Montgomery College.
