Danesha McKellar

Danesha McKellar has a diverse work experience in various roles. From 2022 to the present, they have worked as a Care Coordinator at the University Settlement Society of New York, where they manage a caseload of children and young adults with medical and mental health concerns. Their responsibilities include assisting families, providing counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Danesha worked as an FC Associate at Amazon, where they processed orders, resolved team issues, and maintained customer satisfaction.

Additionally, from 2019 to 2022, they served as a Rehabilitative Aide at Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, supporting residents with mental illness in their transition to independent living. Danesha provided assistance with daily living activities, managed documentation, and facilitated rehabilitative services.

Lastly, from 2018 to 2019, Danesha worked at the University at Albany, SUNY. Danesha was a Middle Earth Hotline Peer Assistant, offering crisis intervention and suicide prevention support. Danesha also served as a Liberty Partnership Rising Star's Youth Mentor & Tutor, providing guidance, academic support, and college preparation to students.

Danesha McKellar attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 2016 to 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Danesha also obtained a certification in Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: NY Employees V4.01 from Traliant in March 2022.
