Meera Mehta

Meera Mehta is an accomplished Band 7 Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist at Unlocking Language, overseeing a team of therapists and managing speech and language therapy provisions for over 60 schools under an NHS contract. With previous experiences as a Band 6 Specialist and Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist, Meera has extensive expertise in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and consulting during SEND Tribunals. Additional roles include serving as an International Student Ambassador at The University of Sheffield, and working as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Capita Education Resourcing. Meera's foundational training includes a Bmed Sci in Speech Science from The University of Sheffield, complemented by a multilingual service delivery experience at Aga Khan University Hospital in East Africa.
